I found another issue: kaffeine also records DVB channels. So, if I stop play but it's recording, module cannot be removed.In method I find a "toggle instant record", but it doesn't help because it changes between on and off. If it's not recording and I "toggle", then it starts recording and grabs device.
It doesn't seem simple to tell *if* it's recording.
