This is about backporting 5.6.0 which was recently accepted into sid.
It's my first attempt on backporting, so all sorts of mistakes are
possible. The backport checklist:
- Package has a substantial user base. However, most of them are using
the Ubuntu package sine the Debian packaging historically has been
missing or outdated.
- 5.6.o is a major update.
- Package is accepted into sid and migrated to testing/Bookworm.
- Package builds with a small delta (below).
- I also did the work with the Sid version.
