Package: sponsorship-requests Severity: important X-Debbugs-CC: debian-input-method@lists.debian.org sunweaver@debian.org ueno@gnu.org kilobyte@angband.pl Dear Adam, Daiki, Mike, debian-input-method members and mentors, As a continuation of dealing with massive RC bugs inside the Input Method Team, I have prepared a team upload for package "libskk". There's no symbol change and transition is not needed either. Besides, I am looking for a DD to help moving my temporary git repository (https://salsa.debian.org/hosiet-guest/libskk.git) under Salsa's Debian group (https://salsa.debian.org/debian/libskk.git) and grant me (hosiet-guest) the Master role so that I could continue to push commits and maintain package there. It is found that libskk would randomly FTBFS during tests [1] so I disabled parallel build for this upload. Further investigation should be needed later. Adam, I have fixed the missing upload 1.0.2-3 as you mentioned in https://lists.debian.org/debian-mentors/2018/06/msg00206.html . This commit does not harm much since it's merely a removal of M-A mark and it is not the root cause of random FTBFS. Daiki, please also feel free to examine my work and make suggestions if you find it necessary. * Package name : libskk Version : 1.0.3-1 Upstream Author : Daiki Ueno <ueno@gnu.org> * URL : https://github.com/ueno/libskk/ * License : GPL-3+ Section : libs It builds those binary packages: gir1.2-skk-1.0 - library to deal with Japanese kana-kanji conversion method - introspection libskk-common - library to deal with Japanese kana-kanji conversion method - common files libskk-dev - library to deal with Japanese kana-kanji conversion method - development libskk-utils - program that emulates Japanese SKK input method libskk0 - library to deal with Japanese kana-kanji conversion method To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL: https://mentors.debian.net/package/libskk Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command: dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/libs/libskk/libskk_1.0.3-1.dsc Git packaging repository (temporary, will be removed after upload): https://salsa.debian.org/hosiet-guest/libskk.git Git packaging repository (proposed, not exist yet): https://salsa.debian.org/debian/libskk.git Changes since the last upload: libskk (1.0.3-1) unstable; urgency=medium . * Team upload. * New upstream release. * Apply "wrap-and-sort -abst". * d/control: Update uploader's mail address to the @gnu.org one. * d/control: Remove legacy DM-U-A field. * d/control: Use debian-input-method@lists.d.o in maintainer field. As libskk-utils is a new binary, uploaded to NEW. 喵! -- ⢀⣴⠾⠻⢶⣦⠀ There's an easy way to tell toy operating systems from real ones. ⣾⠁⢰⠒⠀⣿⡁ Just look at how their shipped fonts display U+1F52B, this makes ⢿⡄⠘⠷⠚⠋⠀ the intended audience obvious. It's also interesting to see OSes ⠈⠳⣄⠀⠀⠀⠀ go back and forth wrt their intended target.
