Bug#1010812: apps' GUI glitches/artifacts with nouveau

Package: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau
Version: 1:1.0.17-1

The problem is that there appear (graphical/video) glitches/artifacts in (the windows of) opera and chrome browsers, skype, and other apps (such as viber and signal), which use hardware acceleration - the glitches/artifacts cover the text, buttons and other elements of the apps' GUI and they are not visible making them unusable (regardless of whether they are in full screen or window mode).

I guess that is due to the old nvidia video adapter and the driver nouveau.

Here is a typical syslog output at the moment of the problematic event:

It has been since sometime in the first half of 2020 year - before that there had been no such shortcoming (when the machine was still with debian buster 10.2) - it has come since version 10.3 or 10.4 (i don't remember exactly which of these two versions). Most likely it is closely related with the function of hardware acceleration of the video adapter (Nvidia 6150 SE) and the video driver given that there is no such problem on Windows 10.

The system (2006 year - amd athlon 64 X2 65nm, ddr2 4GB) is with built-in Nvidia nForce 430 / GeForce 6150SE (chipset/video adapter) and installed debian bullseye (11.3 with the latest updates) with lxqt/sddm/openbox (LXQt 0.16.0, sddm 0.19.0-3, openbox 3.6.1-9 and Qt 5.15.2) and kernel 5.10.0-14-amd64 (5.10.113-1).
