So good news first : No more crashes here on the 5,8 alubook with your
new 
xkb-data_0.8-12exp4_all.deb

Same here:
These both work now without trouble, so far :)

setxkbmap -option -model macintosh -layout de -variant nodeadkeys -print | xkbcomp - :0


*** 2:

setxkbmap -option -model pc105 -layout de -variant nodeadkeys -print | xkbcomp - :0
