Package: wine
Version: 1.4.1-4
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I'm running wine 5.8:i386 on my amd64 laptop using fglrx i386 opengl
implementation version 1:13.8~beta1-2 currently in experimental.

I'm playing Mass Effect 3 in fullscreen mode.
Being able to play it smoothtly is already a big success, and I must say that
fglrx driver is still vastly superior to native radeon open source linux driver
(around 400% faster).

Yet the game does not receive keyboard events (usually, once it happened to
receive them!). As other users have noted, the problem appears only with the
gnome-shell: in fallback mode, with the metacity window manager everything is
ok.

That's quite unfortunate, because otherwise, thanks to various suggestions I
found on the net, I managed to find a combination of software versions and
configurations that enable to fully enjoy the game.

Regards,
Carlo.

Unfortunately, there is no way to correct issues with binary drivers.
You can either roll them back to a known working versioh or upgrade to
see if the problems have been fixed. You can also try submitting the
problem to the vendor.
