I have been trying to install balenaEtcher for 2 days but can't get rid of the following errors :
ERROR:ozone_platform_x11.cc(247)]
Missing X server or $DISPLAY
[10145:1109/120137.666202:ERROR:env.cc(226)] The platform
failed to initialize. Exiting
I have tried
everything I could find with google searches to no avail. My
$DISPLAY variable is blank which may be the source of the
problem.But what should it contain?
I know that
the information I am giving is a bit sketchy but is the best I
can do at this point. There are lots of fixes listed on the
internet but none of them work. I am using the .deb file down
loaded from the balena web page and installing it with dpkg -i
.
Any help will be sincerely appreciated.
