Have you configured pavucontrol? Under the "Output Devices" tab
you should see the BT headphones and other audio devices in your
system. If you don't see the BT device (even if you do see it)
then go to the "Configuration" tab and make sure the BT device is
in Hi fi playback mode (A2DP) and not OFF. Now start audacious
and play something. Go to the "Playback" tab in pavucontrol and
see what device audacious is playing on. Assuming you have more
than one playback device configured just click on the button next
to audacious and select the BT device from the droop down list.
Make sure the volume control is up near 100%. Go to the "Output
Devices" tab and make sure the volume is up on the BT device.
Hopefully you are now listening to what audacious is playing. Hope this helps. I have been using BT
devices for several years now in KDE.
