Can't finish the installation of WaveMaker
Hi,
On my Debian GNU/Linux 7.0 (wheezy) operating system I have downloaded
and installed the wavemaker_6.5.3.Release_amd64.deb package.
I have problem starting Wave Maker as root. However, I must to start it
as root to finish the installation - or configuration.
When in xterm I run the following command:
$ sudo -E /opt/wavemaker-6.5.3.Release/bin/wavemaker.sh
then the output is:
INFO: Using default WaveMaker Home folder
CLASSPATH IS : /opt/wavemaker-6.5.3.Release/launcher/launcher.jar
INFO: Using default WaveMaker Home folder
INFO: Using default WaveMaker Home folder
I can see in the Wave Maker Console the message:
RUNNING: To stop WaveMaker (and configure options), click the Stop
button.
However a small dialog window appeares with the message:
An error occurred while loading or saving configuration information for
firefox-bin. Some of your configuration settings may not work properly.
No D-BUS daemon running
No D-BUS daemon running
No D-BUS daemon running
No D-BUS daemon running
I have the following setup:
$ sudo update-alternatives --config x-www-browser
There are 3 choices for the alternative x-www-browser (providing
/usr/bin/x-www-browser).
Selection Path Priority Status
------------------------------------------------------------
* 0 /usr/bin/iceweasel 70 auto mode
1 /usr/bin/chromium 40 manual mode
2 /usr/bin/iceweasel 70 manual mode
3 /usr/bin/xlinks2 69 manual mode
However WaveMaker still want to start in a new window of Iceweasel at
http://localhost:8094/wavemaker/
and there is nothing happen further, I can see only the WaveMaker Logo
and the message:
Please wait while WaveMaker Studio is loaded in your browser...
What is the problem here and how can I solve it?
