Hmmm... I get:

    [root@navel:/root]$ dpkg-reconfigure debconf
    syntax error at /usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure line 46, near "}"
    Execution of /usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure aborted due to compilation errors.
