Fuer verschiedene Werte von "korrekt"...
$ mountpoint /usr
/usr is a mountpoint
$ mountpoint /usr/local
/usr/local is not a mountpoint
$ dpkg -S $(which mountpoint)
initscripts: /bin/mountpoint
So kannst Du zumindest testen, ob das Verzeichnis ein mountpoint ist.
Wie weit Du das "korrekt" treiben willst, liegt dann letztlich bei
Dir... Ueber /sys/dev/block/$(mountpoint -d /usr)/ kann man sich
bestimmt bis zu den USB-Attributen, Seriennummern, UIDs etc. pp.
durchhangeln irgendwie.
