Package: latex-beamer
Version: 2.21-1
Severity: normal

First at all: This is my worst bug report I ever made. And I have a Woody maschine.

Okay: Some months ago I created an LaTeX file which translated into an nice PDF document I needed for a presentation. This was on a
SuSE maschine with self compiled latex-beamer, pgf and xcolor. The maschine died and tody I found I could try to get Sarge
packages.

When I created that LaTeX file I modified some of the examples and got a nice colored presentation.

However: This does not compile anymore with the Sarge Packages on an Woody maschine. Hmm, I just don't know how to report this
bug properly.

On thing which was a show stopper was the \item-command, after removing it, the compile runs straight trough, although with plenty
of errors, mostly these:

I know this bug report really, really sucks in terms of quality. Sorry for that. You can have my files off-BTS if you want to. I
will stay fiddeling a bit more but since I am quite cluless in that concern there is very little hope.

Anyways: I have been *very* happy to see someone making a Debian package of beamer.

Thanks a lot (even if I suck ;-)

Sebastian

Bug for any quite old version, no MWE provided for reproduction, no
reaction from submitter for about 5 years.

Closing.
