This is a completely unrelated issue, the "standalone" class is
not adapted to work with newer luatex, that was the case already
since long.

You need to use a different class, or add
	\RequirePackage{luatex85}
*before* the \documentclass call. 

There are actually several stack exchange entries related to exactly this
problem.
