For this to work, you would need a texlive binary package that provides
*everything* that is contained in the package(s) you claim to provide
(sorry for stating the obvious). Well, maybe texlive-full could provide
tetex-bin, tetex-base, tetex-extra, at least.

But this won't work when we hit compatibility problems (things like the
caption/caption3 issue...).
