Package: tetex-base
Version: 3.0-10
Severity: important

When a pdf file is produced via latex/dvips/ps2pdf from the following
document:

\documentclass[12pt,twoside]{scrbook}
\usepackage[latin1]{inputenc}
\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\begin{document}
Das ist ein Test.
\end{document}

it is not possible to search for anything (e.g. the letter a) in Acrobat
Reader.  Don't yet know why...

... but the version in teTeX-3.0 doesn't work with teTeX-3.0, since it
detects pdf output wrongly. Anyway, it seems clear that this is not a
bug in the package, but a general limitation for which several
workarounds already exist, and I'm closing this.
