Bug#99710: XDvi doesn't work from menu

Could it be the following happened:

You upgraded tetex-bin.
In the same X-session you had the problem.
The next time you start X the problem is gone.

If yes, the problem is that the xdvi binary has moved in 1.0.7+20001218-3
but you won't get the new menu entries before you restart your window
manager.

(Something similar happens with other menu programs like e.g. pdmenu.)
