texdoc babel
in potato says no documentation for babel found
locate reports that no babel.dvi or babel.dvi.gz exists.
I'm sure that I have tetex-doc properly installed, becouse texdoc for
other packages such as multicol, works perfectly.
I'm using Debian potato 2.2r0 20000814 on i386

The documentation for Babel is in a file called user.dvi.gz in
/usr/share/doc/texmf/generic/babel/.
texdoctk, which is available in woody, provides an user friendly interface
to all the documentation in teTeX.
