unbootable after upgrade
Trying to upgrade from lenny to squeeze I ended up with an unbootable
system when grub got partially installed due to udev not installing
because the kernel was too old. (So grub was already broken, and I
couldn't boot into a newer kernel at that point to fix the udev
problem.) 571255 seems to touch on this, but needing a rescue cd
is pretty unusual for a debian upgrade.
