Bug#420238: upgrade-reports: sec (5.2.1) of doc about KDE would not work for me

in a new DVD install of 4.0 the boot prompt parameters    
priority=medium task="standard, kde-desktop"
gave me error message about not being able to find that kernel.
Either it dose not work or I did not understand docuentation
see doc (5.2.1

#2 after desktop instalation I have imediately added
  wvdial
  kde----which is what I want
  icedove
