With your packages.woody I can rebuild exactly your configuration
(as far as packages/version as concerned).
I am investigating right now. It seems Debian KDE packages have too
much circular dependencies.
If you have time you can try to upgrade with dselect instead and report
how less painful it was, or try aptitude in interactive mode.
