Yeah, that looks great indeed :)
Just please write a correct debian changelog. What you did from a
"Debian point of view" is updating to a new upstream release and
removing patches (and manpages) that have been incorporated upstream.
What you wrote is instead from a "upstream point of view" where you
incorportated changes in the last debian release.
