Why I'm here (Was: Debian Science Policy)

To give a second data point, besides sharing Paul's motivation, I'm
here to try to help Debian's standing[1] in the world of Science, and
in particular, Particle Physics.  I can't offer enough time to become
a DD so I try help in whatever other small ways I can.
