Package: reportbug
Version: 7.10.3+deb11u1
Severity: minor
X-Debbugs-Cc: tg@mirbsd.de

reportbug leaves 0-length files around in /var/tmp/ (the
persistent temporary file storage), which needs not be.

Incidentally, it also leaves copies of the sent reports
around, but in /tmp/ which may be on a ramdisc and which,
iff leaving around at all, I’d have expected on /var/tmp/
instead (especially during composition time, i.e. before
sending). Might want to move that.
