A great disappointment, indeed. I am one of those who experience the
segfault with that latest update. Back to the free one, no OpenCL.

The removal led to a plunge in popcon of ~15%. I wished only
that binary would have been removed. It was only a virtual package
to help n00bs getting their dependencies right for GPU computing.
For NVidia's cudacack (to stay in the picture) I did the same.
