Steps to reproduce: 1. Open the project in qtcreator 2. Make sure qtcreator is configured to use qt 5.2 (tools->options->Build&run, QT Versions and Kits tabs) 3. Configure project with qt 5.2 kit 4. See that run and debug buttons in bottom left corner are grey. Also matching menu entries are disabled. The test case build and runs in my system with /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/bin/qmake && make && ./crash
