You know that the mouse pointer, after some seconds, disappears when
playing a file. Well, in some cases (when switching between windows, or
when going from/to full screen to/from window mode) when it disappears,
it leaves a black square in its place and I have to (without touching
the mouse) go full screen and then back again (or window mode and then
back to full screen) to have it removed.
