Package: cron Version: 3.0pl1-74 Severity: normal I know this will be a frustratingly useless bug report, but it's happened twice now for me, so I feel someone should be aware. cron just dies. I notice that I've stopped receiving logcheck messages and go investigate the process table. No messages in the log and no particular evidence of a segfault, but unsure. System is using LDAP for NSS and PAM authorization and MIT Krb5 for authentication, for what it's worth. No other services seem to particularly have this issue. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux omoikane 2.4.21 #1 SMP Mon Jun 16 14:45:13 PDT 2003 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages cron depends on: ii debconf 1.3.11 Debian configuration management sy ii debianutils 2.5.4 Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii libc6 2.3.2-3 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libpam0g 0.76-13.1 Pluggable Authentication Modules l -- debconf information: * cron/checksecurity:

It's your call. Closing this bug. If anyone can still reproduce this issue, feel free to re-open. -- -- arthur - adejong@debian.org - http://people.debian.org/~adejong --Attachment: signature.asc
