Package: diald
Version: 0.99.4-5
Severity: normal

After installing diald, I found diald was triggering pppd once every
2-3 minutes for no apparent reason. From /var/log/syslog, I saw diald
was triggered by ICMP packets.

Solution: there appears to be a typo in /etc/diald/standard.filter
line 146 -

ignore igmp any

should be -

ignore icmp any
