Because of that, I'm using a pure git process and not bothering to generate pristine tar bits -- there's no usable upstream tarball anyways. I'm willing to continue to maintain this package using that process, but I don't really have any interest in using the existing python packagers process because I don't think it applies in this case. -- -keith
