Please consider that NMU. I'm part of upstream maintainer team "backintime".I wasn't able to establish contact with Jonathan Wiltshire (jmw) who is the Debian Maintainer of that package.
The fabulous Fabio Fantoni still opened an NMU for that package. https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1033829 Would be great of some of you could have a look at it. Kind Christian Buhtz
