Package: gs
Version: 8.01-4
Severity: normal

When viewing
http://www.sagem.fr/mobiles/mobile/niveau3/docs/mob11_lu_french.pdf
within Konqueror, I can see the "gs" process use huge amounts of RAM
(>200Mb). Ultimately, unless I kill it, it takes down the whole KDE
session (back to KDM login screen)... The machine "only" has 256Mb RAM.
Acrobat Reader opens the file without trouble on NT, using 18Mb RAM.

It's fair to say I didn't remember that bug I opened 6.5 years ago.

Nowadays I'm using okular to read pdfs, and can't recall any recent trouble.

Given that this version of gs is long gone even from oldstable, that I don't
have access to the affected machine anymore and no copy of that pdf, plus that
2004's idea of "uses too much ram" might be a bit different from 2011's
version, I suppose this can be closed.

BTS-cleaning is good ;-)

Regards,

Sebastien
