Upstream only dlopen()s libpaper. /me wonders whether that is considered linking... A quick poll on IRC reveals that it's also seen as linking... If not, I might just get away with reverting to dlopen() it (in which case the package would still Depends on libpaper1, though, since it's used in the papersize detection).
