Gwenole confirmed to me that he didn't see this. I tracked it down to 903_system_freetype. With this patch, OOo doesn't display the OpenSymbol font properly. You can also see this in the Insert Special Character dialog. When trying to add this font manually in spadmin, it aborts so I suspect there is some problem with the font code and libfreetype6-1.1. I haven't been able to trace this in gdb because I'd need to do a debug build. For now, I going to back out the patch and upload -6. 1.0.1 is expected to release within the next week or two, so I'd rather get that and the Java patch done first. Chris
