Sorry Kristjan, you'll need to give more information. Are you setting
any font information?

I don't think any font information is being set. To check this, I started Octave with the -f option, but the problem persists.

I made a small mistake with my original bug report. In plot_bug.m, line 12 is commented out. To see the bug, line 12 must not be commented.
