Thank you for your note.

Grace, apparently, is the GUI for Common Music,

The homepage, http://commonmusic.sourceforge.net/,  mentions that the CM
is released under the LLGPL (Lisp Lesser General Public License). The
download contains zipped files for Ubuntu and Fedora, but also source
code (look for 'others').

For an excellent description of this software, see Taube's book: Notes
from the Metalevel.

I would suggest that Debian should follow the CCRMA development efforts:
https://ccrma.stanford.edu/software They are doing excellent work...but
for some reason only for Fedora and CentOS.
