Re: static IP and live-initramfs (man page wrong?)

I've got Ethernet working. This embedded board (PC/104 stack) is a mess of wires and one had pulled out where I didn't expect it.

Now I have a static IP, eth0 is UP but not RUNNING. Looking at dmesg I have:

My network connection worked fine with dhcp. Any Ideas?
