Sorry. It's a proprietary package so I can't.
I investigated some more and the issue I'm seeing may have nothing to do
with this bug.
The portion of the Lintian lab that takes all the space is where the
package gets unpacked. I have a script that does a bunch of builds and
among then one is a debug version of the package with unstripped
binaries. Of course that package is bigger and some libraries have been
added recently which has only increased its size. The result is that
once unpacked it takes about 1.4 GB. Still not enough to fill /tmp's 2
GB but getting close enough if it's partially full already I guess.
So for now I think it's reasonable to chalk it up to that and ignore
what I said before.
