Bug#796896: marked as done (Lintian is requesting python-*-dbgsym to be in section python)

When enabling the brand new automatic debug packages, one get lintian warnings
such as:
W: python-rrdtool-dbgsym: wrong-section-according-to-package-name python-rrdtool-dbgsym => python

N:    This package has a name suggesting that it belongs to a section other
N:    than the one it is currently categorized in.
N:    
N:    Severity: normal, Certainty: possible
N:    
N:    Check: fields, Type: binary, udeb, source
N: 

Automatic debug symbols packages should not be in python section, this is a false positive.

My guess is that the generated DEBIAN/control with "Section: debugsym" is correct.

Hi,

Thanks for the report.

This should be fixed in lintian/2.5.37 but we forgot the "Closes"change.
