That is one answer ! It was easier for me to download the file with another system with working network, and install it on the box.
Just guessing - I'm curiour whether this was the case.If I'm not mistaken, you will not receive possible future upgrades for a package this way.He will, if the package was downloaded from debian archive and if he downloaded jessie or older version. The wiki page describes versions for jessie...
The https://packages.debian.org/broadcom-sta-dkm page shows versions for stretch too.
