Installing problems with xgl/beryl/compiz



Hi listmembers ;)
I would like to use beryl (compiz) and xgl on my notebook. I've a very old one
and hope, you can tell me, if it would work. My notebook is an IBM ThinkPad
T21, 256mb ram, hdd is 20gb,Pentium III (Coppermine), 647.255
and this is my lspci:

Is it possible to use xgl and beryl on my notebook? Or doesn't? I've
tried a lot, so I installed .deb's I found in the web and tryed the tutorial
[1]. So I assume it does not work, because of VGA S3 Savage graficcard.... But 
I hope, you got an idea.. Never the less, here is uname -a , could be important 
for you...: 2.6.17-2-686
