help with compiling new kernel

Hi all, I have tried compiling a 2.6.8 (debian source) and 2.6.10 (vanilla) kernel and in both cases i am getting an error in "drivers/built-in.o" (see below). What can i do to compile a working kernel, what would I be able to disable in the config? (because i dont think i need isd200...etc for my system)

thanks

The error message i get is below:

LD .tmp_vmlinux1
