Acer TM654LC and Memory Card reader

Hi guys,
I'm thinking about buying a new laptop and after a few comparisons I've opted
for the Acer TravelMate 654LC, that has got everything I need (and I've got a
discount on it!).
I'd also like to be able to use the integrated 4-in-1 Memory Card reader
(MemoryStick, MM, SD, CF) so I can backup my personal files on something
removable (ok, I could use an USB memory key, but why should I?).
Now, the question is: does somewhere exist someone that knows how to make it
work under Debian? I'm using woody at the moment, but some new features of
testing are interesting me, so I think I'll upgrade asap.
Is there any projects on the inet to allow us (Debian users) use it as the Win
users already do?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Matteo
