Re: Toshiba laptops & Debian



Check www.linux-laptop.net.  It has'war stories' sorted by manufacturer and model.  I use it to guide my own purchases.

My prior two computers were Toshiba Satellites.  Mandrake installed painlessly on them.  

If you're new to Linux, you may want to buy something like Partition Magic or Partition Commander to partition the hard drive for you.
