Dear Maintainer,
Thanks for being a Debian volunteer.
In linux-image-6.6.8-amd64-dbg, the symbols for vmlinux are stripped, which
defeats the purpose of installing the package. vmlinux was not stripped in the
trixie kernel dbg package:
$ file $(find /usr/lib/debug -name "vmlinux*" -type f)
/usr/lib/debug/boot/vmlinux-6.6.8-amd64: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), statically linked, BuildID[sha1]=144f4fcbb5d506514b6552bbd7c7d03fd7ddadde, stripped
/usr/lib/debug/boot/vmlinux-6.5.0-2-amd64: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), statically linked, BuildID[sha1]=1921e63a5a6fcc611ae79e17f64ec58225ec23eb, with debug_info, not stripped
The modules provided with linux-image-6.6.8-amd64-dbg are not stripped:
$ file /usr/lib/debug/lib/modules/6.6.8-amd64/kernel/fs/ext4/ext4.ko
/usr/lib/debug/lib/modules/6.6.8-amd64/kernel/fs/ext4/ext4.ko: ELF 64-bit LSB relocatable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), BuildID[sha1]=53e944d5e261d12c3beb55bcdfb85837c34c761b, with debug_info, not stripped
Hopefully it is not too much work to fix this minor error.
