This is *not* the way it works.

If an error occurs the bug submitter is meant to post the error.
Also it might be nice to post which version works or worked.

Hello Maximilian,

Your answer is not helpfull : the error has been post in the first message : with the new kernel 3.9.6, the boot process is blocked during the initramfs phase. That's the point and I hope you agree with me that the problem exists and can be named « regression ».

I do not have the knowledge for resolving the problem by my own, otherwise I wouldn't have opened this ticket. But I can help you to understand it, and why this happen with this kernel and not the previous I've installed.

I think the debian team has a better knowledge and competences than me for understand where the regression lies, and I can give you my help if you need more informations.

Without drones we don't get an eye on your cool box. (:
Afaik Debian doesn't invest yet in such remote bug control.

Please do not be sarcastic : I was saying I'm ready to help you if you need more informations about the system or need the output of some commands, I do not believe in black magic, neither in bug apparition, neither in their correction.

Now, I repeat what I said in my previous mail : do not hesitate to ask me if you need more informations I'm not this kind of guy afraid from a terminal.

Regards,
