Hi,

when running the 3.6.37-rc5 kernel, I noticed that my screen fails to
"relight" after being suspended by the desktop manager (inactivitiy timeout).
I can reliably reproduce this (and recover) by following these steps:

1) boot, up to a running X
2) $ xset dpms force off
3) move mouse

Now the screen is on, things work, but I cannot light the screen more than a
bare minimum (using the Fn-{up,down} "hardware" keys), while I can before step
2. I can recover from this situation by suspending-to-ram and waking up again.

This is also a regression from the Squeeze-Sid kernel (2.6.32-29), but I think
it worked with 2.6.36.

Cheers,

OdyX
