Package: udev
Version: 0.084-4
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks the whole system

report:
I just made an update on my laptop and i am now unable to boot the
system. Unfortunately, i've only the 2.6.15-1-686 linux-image installed
on the system.
The error message is mentionned in the subject :
/scripts/init-premount/udev : 21 : udevd : not found

So, it can't mount the root and can't continue the normal boot process.
I can boot on a live-cd and chroot in my system if there is a need.

I can provide any supplementary information if needed.

cheers,

Florian
