The same thing happened to me. I couldn't reproduce it on every pc, though,
and not every time.

I can reproduce every time on my laptop. My desktop, OTOH, diesn't seem to do at all.

The wrinkle that it also deletes my user's .bash_history, is a new and annoying change.
