Cups fa le bizze [sid]

Salve a tutti!
Da quanto ho installato cups ho avuto molti problemi nella stampa. 
(Come erano belli i tempi di /etc/printcap!!!)


Pochi giorni fa andando a configurare con hp-setup la mia 
HP OfficeJet 5510 ho incominciato ad avere problemi con cups 
In sostanza quando faccio manualmente    "/etc/init.d/cupsys restart"
oppure quando via web mi collego a http://localhost:631
ottengo il risultato che il server cupsd  si ferma inviando alla console
il seguente messaggio 

Message from syslogd@debsim2 at Fri Feb  8 12:11:55 2008 ...
debsim2 cupsd: Unable to read configuration file '/etc/cups/cupsd.conf'
- exiting!

Tuttavia il file e' presente. Infatti 

ls -l /etc/cups/cupsd.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1718 2008-02-08 12:11 /etc/cups/cupsd.conf

Ho anche inviato una segnalazione di bug ma non ho avuto risposte a
parte quella automatica.
