A lot of people are excited, yes. Extremely few have to to contribute.
The result is not surprising: we've spent the extremely little time we
have on making it at least work. If people want something, they have to
help on it.
(not to be taken personnally, it's really a general comment, that also
applies to kFreeBSD, to Xorg, the debian installer in general, etc.
